What Is a Learnership?

A learnership combines classroom learning with hands‑on work. You’ll learn theory while working in a real office, earning a paycheck (a monthly stipend) during the 12‑month course. It’s a common pathway in South Africa for people who want paid training and a recognized qualification.

Who Should Apply?

  • Ages 18 to 25 (you can turn 25 anytime in 2026).
  • Speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Have passed matric with English and at least Maths (Pure or Literacy) or Accounting.
  • Not already in another learnership or have completed one before.
  • Submit an ID and matric results – without them you won’t be considered.

Your Day‑to‑Day Duties

  • Take responsibility for all client service tasks, ensuring they’re finished on time and correctly.
  • Provide the right documents and information at the right time.

  • Stay on track with service level agreements so clients are happy and expectations are clear.
