  • Registered at a public university or an accredited TVET college for a construction‑related qualification.
  • Shows a clear commitment to career progression.
  • Priority groups are the same as for the internship (women, youth, persons with disabilities, first‑generation students).

Fields of study covered

Both parts of the programme focus on construction and built‑environment disciplines, with priority given to:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Construction Management
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Quantity Surveying
  • Other infrastructure‑related qualifications

  • Internship stipend: R60 000 per year (approx. R5 000 per month before deductions).
