The Department of Employment and Labour invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their UIF Client Service Officer vacancies. The closing date for applications is the 31 October 2025.
What Are UIF Client Service Officers?
The UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) is a safety net that helps people who lose their jobs. As a UIF Client Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for people who need help with UIF benefits. Your job will be to listen, answer questions, check documents, and start the paperwork that lets people get the help they need. This role is a great chance to join the public service, learn useful skills, and help the community.
Where Do We Need You?
We are opening 454 new jobs across many Labour Centres in South Africa. Below is a short list of the main cities where you can apply. (Click on each city name for more details about the centre.)

Do You Meet the Requirements?
You don’t need to have a special degree for this job, but here’s what we’re looking for:

You can either do it online or write it down and deliver it in person:- Bethal LC: Send to Jobs‑BTH@LABOUR.gov.za or hand deliver at 9 Vuyisile Mini Street, Bethal.
- Carolina LC: Email Jobs‑CRL@LABOUR.gov.za or bring it to No 9 Goud Street, Carolina.
- Other centres: Most centres have email addresses ending in @LABOUR.gov.za. Use the instructions from the centre page, or visit the centre during working hours to drop the paper in person.
