Provantage 2026/27 Learnership for Unemployed Youth – 09 June 2026

What the opportunity is

Provantage is offering a 12‑month learnership that mixes classroom training with on‑the‑job practice. It is open to unemployed youth aged 18‑35 across South Africa. The programme pays the applicable minimum wage and leads to a nationally recognised NQF Level 5 certificate.

Who can apply

You must meet all of the following:

  • Be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application.
  • Be unemployed when you apply.
  • Hold a National Senior Certificate (Matric) with a pass in Mathematics or Technical Mathematics, and English or Business English.
  • Have completed a TVET N6 qualification in one of these fields:
    • Sales and Marketing
    • Human Resources Management
    • Financial Management
    • Business Management
    • Management Assistant
  • Be able to commit to the full 12‑month period.

  • Johannesburg
  • Cape Town
  • Durban
  • George
  • Gqeberha
  • Bloemfontein

What you will gain

The learnership provides a stipend, structured learning, and hands‑on experience. You will earn one of the following certificates:

National Certificate: Project Management

  • SAQA ID: 58395
  • NQF Level: 5
  • Credits: 120

Skills include planning, organising, and monitoring projects. Possible job titles: Project Administrator, Project Coordinator, Operations Assistant, Programme Support Officer.

National Certificate: Generic Management

  • SAQA ID: 59201
  • NQF Level: 5
  • Credits: 162

You will learn management principles, business operations, and leadership. Possible job titles: Team Leader, Supervisor, Administrative Manager, Operations Coordinator.

National Certificate: Customer Management

  • SAQA ID: 20908
  • NQF Level: 5
  • Credits: 243

This focuses on customer service and client relations. Possible job titles: Customer Service Consultant, Client Relationship Officer, Contact Centre Team Leader, Customer Experience Coordinator.
