Value Logistics 2026 Transport Learnerships – Apply by 15 Nov
Finding a job after Matric can feel impossible, especially when employers keep asking for experience you haven’t had. The good news is that Value Logistics, part of Value Group, is offering three learnerships that start this November – a chance to earn, learn and get your foot in the door of South Africa’s transport and logistics sector. Value Logistics Learnership Programme is open now, so act quickly.
What the learnerships involve
Value Logistics will run three 12‑month occupational learnerships. Each combines on‑the‑job training with classroom learning and ends with an assessment that can give you a recognised NQF qualification.
- Road Transport Supervision – NQF Level 4 (Germiston, Gauteng)
- Freight Handler – NQF Level 3 (Germiston, Gauteng)
- Road Transport Supervision – NQF Level 4 (Cato Ridge, KwaZulu‑Natal)
All three pay a monthly stipend of R4 240 and include a bonus when you finish the programme.
Who can apply
To be eligible you must:
- Have a Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- Be unemployed and looking for your first work experience.
- Be aged 19‑29 for the Germiston Freight Handler learnership.
- Meet any additional conditions shown on the SA Youth Mobi listing (for example, a valid ID).
The two Road Transport Supervision learnerships do not state a specific age limit, but you still need to satisfy the other listed criteria.
What you will gain
During the 12 months you will:
- Earn R4 240 each month – a real boost for living costs.
- Attend one week of classroom training each month.
- Work Monday‑to‑Friday, 07:00‑17:00, in a real logistics environment.
- Develop skills such as transport planning, safety compliance, cargo handling, communication and teamwork.
- Sit for an External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) that leads to an NQF qualification.
- Add practical experience and a recognised certificate to your CV, making future job applications stronger.
