Waterberg TVET College & ETDP SETA 2026 Internship – Apply by 17 July

What the internship is

The Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA) together with Waterberg TVET College are offering a fully funded internship programme. It lasts 24 months, pays a monthly stipend of R6 000, and is open to graduates in Information Technology, Public Administration, Business Management, Management Assistant and Human Resources.

Who can apply

To be considered you must meet the following criteria for the relevant stream.

  1. Information Technology (2 posts)
    • Reference: WTVET 2026/05 06
    • NQF Level 6
    • Placement: Engineering and Skills Training Centre – Lebowakgomo Campus & Central Office
    • Minimum qualification: Grade 12, NCV Level 4, Diploma, Advanced Certificate or Occupational Certificate in IT
    • Relevant career paths: IT support, systems administration, technical support, network administration, information systems
  2. Public Administration / Business Management / Management Assistant (2 posts)
    • Reference: WTVET 2026/07
    • NQF Level 6
    • Placement: Central Office, Mokopane
    • Minimum qualification: Grade 12, NCV Level 4, Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Public Administration, Business Management or Management Assistant
  3. Human Resources (1 post)
    • Reference: WTVET 2026/08
    • NQF Level 6
    • Placement: Thabazimbi Campus
    • Minimum qualification: Grade 12, NCV Level 4, Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Human Resources

Applicants who have already completed a funded internship are not eligible.

How to apply – step by step

  1. Gather the required documents:
    • Detailed CV
    • Certified copy of your South African ID
    • Certified copies of all qualifications
    • Certified academic record(s)
  2. Print and organise your documents neatly. Ensure every copy is clearly legible and certified.
  3. Visit one of the reception offices below and hand‑deliver your complete application package:
    • Engineering and Skills Training Centre – Reception, Stand No. 10, Zone P, Lebowakgomo
    • Thabazimbi Campus – Reception, Extension 8, Regorogile, Thabazimbi
    • Central Office (Mokopane) – Reception, C/O Totius and Hooge Street, Mokopane
  4. Keep a copy of everything you submit for your records.
  5. Wait for the selection outcome. Successful candidates will sign an internship agreement with ETDP SETA covering the full 24‑month period.
