Western Cape Traffic Officer Student Cadet Learnership 2026: How to Apply

This 12-month full-time learnership gives unemployed young people the chance to train as traffic officers. You will study at the well-known Gene Louw Traffic College in Brackenfell and earn a Further Education and Training Certificate in Road Traffic Law Enforcement. This is the official qualification needed to work as a traffic officer in South Africa.

Training happens at Gene Louw Traffic College in Brackenfell. Placement depends on the department’s needs.
