York Timbers Civil Engineering Level 4 WIL Internship 2026 – Apply Today

York Timbers invites qualified applicants to apply for its Civil Engineering Programme.
The closing date for applications is 26 January 2026.

What Is the Civil Engineering Programme?

York Timbers has teamed up with the Fibre Processing and Manufacturing SETA (FP &M SETA) to launch a 12‑month, hands‑on learning course that will take you from a classroom to real construction sites. The programme is a Workplace Integrated Learning (WIL) experience that is especially useful for people who are looking for practical skills and a solid CV.

Why It Matters

  • You learn real civil‑engineering concepts instead of just theory.
  • You work on actual projects, so employers see you can apply what you’ve learned.
  • It’s free – no application fee, no tuition fee.
  • After you finish, you’ll have a certificate that shows you have hands‑on experience.

Who Can Join?

This training is aimed at unemployed South African youth who want to build a career in construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
