NW Dept Safety & Transport Internship 2026/27 – Deadline 17 July

Getting your first job after graduation can feel impossible, but the North West Department of Community Safety and Transport Management is now accepting applications for its 2026/27 Graduate Internship Programme – and the deadline is only a few weeks away.

What the internship offers

The department will take on 50 graduate interns for a 24‑month placement at its head office in Mahikeng, North West. Interns receive a monthly stipend of R8 174.75 while working in a range of public‑sector directorates.

Who may apply

  • South African citizen
  • Age 18 – 35
  • Completed the relevant qualification (see reference numbers below)
  • Currently unemployed
  • Never taken part in a government internship before

If you have finished your studies but are still waiting for your official certificate, you may still apply using your transcript or an official confirmation letter from your institution.
