What is the BevCo Apprenticeship Programme?
BevCo is one of South Africa’s biggest beverage makers. They are looking for young people who love engineering and want to become a Millwright Artisan.
A Millwright is a skilled worker who builds, fixes, and keeps big machines and equipment running smoothly in factories and plants.
The apprenticeship gives you hands‑on training and classroom learning at the same time. You will work side‑by‑side with experienced artisans, learn the trade, and earn a qualification that can launch a full‑time career in maintenance or engineering.

What do you need to qualify?
- Matric (high‑school) pass with at least 50 % in Mathematics or Physical Science.
- A N3 qualification related to the Millwright trade (for example, a technical diploma in mechanical engineering).
- A knack for mechanics, problem‑solving, and analytical thinking.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in a technical role.
If you meet these basics, you can apply. BevCo may add extra criteria during the shortlisting stage.
What will you do as an apprentice?
- Help skilled artisans with daily plant maintenance and operations.
- Take part in structured learning modules that cover everything from wiring to hydraulics.
- Keep a training log to show your progress against the approved development plan.
These tasks give you a taste of factory life and help you become comfortable with heavy equipment and troubleshooting.

- No relocation support will be offered.
- The pay package is local to the Johannesburg Metro area.
